Today was our free day in Paris and it started off to a slow start. Some people walked around the mall in morning and other slept in to catch up on lost sleep over the past couple days. When everyone was finally awake we met up to set out for the day.
Our first destination was the Eiffel Tower. We navigated ourselves through the metro system and finally arrived. Looking up you could immediately see the massive world famous structure. We walked around to get all angles for pictures and went to higher ground and took a bunch of pictures.
From there the groups split up and the guys went out for a nice lunch near the Eiffel Tower and the girls went to the louvre to see the iconic Mona Lisa.
Something that interesting that happened after lunch was, we saw some cops run down and try to arrest a street vendor. After the cops caught him the other vendors came over as a distraction and everyone ran. Pepper spray flew everywhere but all the vendors got away and they only ones with the pepper spray in their eyes were the cops. Not a good day for law enforcement in France.
We then set off back to Champs Eylsees. We didn’t have anything specific on the agenda so just walked around and went into some shops to pass the time. We then got back on the metro to regroup and meet everyone back at the hotel.
